LIBRARY RULES AND REGULATIONS
- Membership: All students, faculty, and staff of Gorubathan Government College are library members.
- Entry: Show your college ID at the entrance.
- Borrowing Limit: Students can borrow up to 2 books at a time for a period of 14 days. Faculty can borrow up to 5 books for 30 days.
- Renewals: Books can be renewed once if there are no reservations. Renewals must be done in person.
- Returns: Return books by the due date.
- Reference Materials: Reference documents such as dictionaries, encyclopedias, yearbooks, periodicals, magazines, newspapers and handbooks will not be lent out or issued to users.
- Handling Books: Handle all library materials with care. Report any damage or loss immediately.
- Quiet Zone: Maintain silence within the library to create a conducive study environment.
- Personal Belongings: Leave bags and personal belongings in the designated area. Only notebooks and laptops are allowed inside.
- Food and Drinks: No food or drinks are allowed inside the library.
- Cell Phones: Keep cell phones on silent mode. No phone calls are allowed inside.
- Computer Use: Library computers are for academic purposes only. Follow the sign-up sheet for usage.
- Conduct: Respectful behavior towards staff and fellow students is mandatory. Misconduct will result in disciplinary action.
- Library Staff: Follow the instructions given by library staff at all times.
